Mauiexpo Kennel is a family owned Kennel that was born 10 years ago with the dream that I once had as a child to own an English bulldog puppy.

My Name is Diego Rojas I am married and have 3 young daghters and this is the story of our Kennel.

We bought our first English bulldog 10 years ago, I had always wanted an English Bulldog ever since I was a little kid, but to be honest I could never afford one, they were just way over our price range, they used to be a lot more expensive 10 years ago than they are now.
So as I grew Older and got married my wife and I decided to buy our first English Bulldog I guess it was the right time for it and finally I would get to own what I had always dreamed of.

After we got our first male Bulldog, we just fell in love with the breed, and I will be honest not because I breed them, but they are the noblest breed in the world, they are loyal, loving, tender, friendly, playful, lazy, fun, funny,  and I could go on for ever just saying good things about English Bulldogs, one thing about English Bulldogs is that you live in their house they don’t live in yours, the are very stubborn and you have to show them who is the boss or they will take over and rule your world,English Bulldogs do what ever they want they, have a mind of their own specially when they are English bulldog puppies, they are definite clowns and never grow up.

So we decided to start breeding English Bulldogs, we thought it was going to be very easy just like any other breed but we were in for a big surprise, I can honestly say English Bulldogs is by far the most difficult breed to produce. First English Bulldogs don’t naturally breed like any other breed, most of the time you have to inseminate the English Bulldog, only after years of experience we learned how to naturally breed our English Bulldogs, it is impossible to do it by your self, it has to be done between 3 people in order to get it right, then comes the whelping of the English Bulldog puppies, 95% of English Bulldogs do not free whelp and need a C-section and if you try to free whelp an English Bulldog Puppy you are taking the chance of loosing your female and the the whole English Bulldog Litterl, so as you can see it is very complicated to produce English Bulldog Puppies and everything has to be programmed from 2 months before with exact dates.

I always program my English Bulldog females on the 63 day of the breeding, sometimes they are one or 2 days early, they will usually show you, the best way to know is because the do not eat, this tells you it's time, or by taking temperature, but I always go by them now eating, this has to be very precise because if you do the C-section one day before you are supposed to, the English Bulldog puppies lungs could not be developed enough and you can loose the whole litter, this is just one day so just imagine how precise you have to be in timing in order for everything to go perfect with out any complications on the delivery of your English Bulldog puppies.

After the English Bulldog Puppies are born you are in for another roller coaster, you cannot leave the Bulldogs with the female for the first 20 days, so you have to manually put the English Bulldog puppies day and night every hour for them to take their milk for the first 20 days, The English Bulldog females are so heavy that if you were to leave the puppies with mommy you have a huge chance of her laying on top of the English Bulldog Puppies and they will suffocate to death, so its better to be safe than sorry, on and off it gets stressing trust me! Also a thing you cant forget is that you have to get a wet cotton ball and rub The English bulldog puppies genitals every so often in order to make them go to the bathroom or you have a chance of them getting intestinal occlusion and they will die! All these things that I am telling you it’s because it happened to me in the beginning because of not knowing what procedures to take in raising English Bulldog puppies.

As you can see this is very time consuming, and people ask why are English Bulldogs so Expensive, well those are just a few explanations of why they can get to be very expensive.

Some English Bulldog Breeders talk bad about other English Bulldog breeders I don’t do that, I don’t think its ethical and professional everyone has their ways of breeding English Bulldogs and I respect that, I just try as humanly possible to produce healthy English Bulldog puppies, but one thing people have to understand is that I am not God! For me to know the outcome of every one of my English Bulldog puppies, they are live animals and just like us humans can have complications, please remember that you are not buying an Electrical appliance that you can just go to a store and replace it, remember that I am not God and they are not a radios or a dishwashers. They are “live” animals they are English Bulldogs.

I read sometimes that how can a person buy an English Bulldog Puppy on line with out seeing him or her, sometimes people don’t have a choice, and just have to purchase an English Bulldog puppy on line because, either no one breeds English Bulldogs close by or Pet stores have English Bulldogs Puppies at ridicules prices and honestly you do not want to get an English Bulldog puppy from a pet store, I think if you research a bit and read a lot you can find the right English Bullodg breeder that knows what he is doing, don’t go by the cheap English Bulldog puppy prices it’s probably a scam and there are many of those out there! So just be very careful before buying an English Bulldog Puppy and what you can do is a background check of the English Bulldog breeder, try to get references such as a Vet you can talk to or some past clients they have sold to.

People ask me if I neuter my English Bulldogs Puppies or have limitations on my pedigrees or if I have applications in order for you to buy one of my English Bulldog Puppies, no I don’t neuter my English Bulldogs I think if you buying an English Bulldog you can do what ever you please with it! That is why you bought an English Bulldog and he is yours! And you may do as you please, it’s like buying a car and telling you that you can’t put a radio in it, I think that is ridicules, People ask if I have applications like some people do? to see if you “qualify” to buy an English Bulldog puppy, No I think God made us all the same and if you are buying an English Bulldog puppy it’s because you are going to love your English Bulldog and give him all the necessary care it will need through out his life, to me that is pure protocol, why do I need to know how much you make or if you have a back yard or if your neighbor has pets, or if you plan to move this year I don’t think that is fair and like I said before God made us all the same, if you have the money to purchase an English Bulldog puppy then you have all the right to! without me knowing your life story.

People ask me why should I buy an English Bulldog puppy from you and not someone else, first of all you don’t have to purchase an English Bulldog puppy from me, that is your choice there are millions of English Bulldog puppies on the web you can choose from, and it’s your choice if you decide to buy an English Bulldog Puppy from me or not, but I could tell you that experience speaks for itself.
